Happy Thanksgiving to everybody in Wahoo Nation.  Because I’m feeling grateful for Tony Bennett’s basketball program and all the amazing young men he has brought into our tribe, here are some of your favorite videos for another free viewing.

Victory In Mordor

That 2017-18 team had a great season, and I’m not sure there was a greater moment than the win in Cameron.  We had not been successful there in 23 years.  I’m not sure we had ever beaten a top 5 Duke team down there.  I was inspired to make this video, and it took me almost a year of off-and-on work to do it, but when I did, the people loved it.

Resilience

The Midnight Madness Hype Video for the 2018-19 season was a big hit. A lot of Hoos had to go with the HTSD Safe version, but the best was the original, and now that we have the championship, here is the full version:

This was the original UVA fan media use of the Resilience theme for that 2018-19 season. We hit on the theme before our competitor did.

And finally, your favorite of favorites:

Jack Salt: Let the Bodies Hit the Floor

This is the third version of the classic.  The original came out in his sophomore year, and he just kept adding the hits, so I kept revising the video to always include his best.

I hope you all enjoyed this Thanksgiving treat!

A fan of UVA basketball since Ralph Sampson was a sophomore and I was in high school, I was blessed to receive two degrees from UVA and attend many amazing games. Online since 1993, HOOS Place is my second UVA sports website, having founded HOOpS Online in 1995.
