Boston College does return the respectable backcourt pair of Robinson and Bowman, who combined for 33 ppg last year, and with Chatman and Popovic, BC returns 4 of their top 5 scorers. The addition of grad transfer PF Deontae Hawkins, who averaged 14 points and 6.5 boards for the Redbirds as a junior, will significantly bolster a front court feeling the loss of Tava and Jeffers. They still lack depth made up of ACC level talent, and they'll get little help from a four-man class of 2-star freshmen. This team will be only marginally improved from the squad that lost their last 15 games last year. Expect BC to win only 3-5 games this year as they again struggle to keep up with more talented ACC squads, though we do expect them to be more competitive than we're used to.
