As we tweeted last night, I have completed my 2018-19 basketball hype video.  I started this last year with "The Mission", which addressed the social issues that had just engulfed us.

The video drops at 12:00 AM EDT on September 25, 2018, just a few hours before the Hoos have their first official practice of the 2018-19 season.

In this year's video, I address that which Hoo Nation must face: The way the season ended.  It's something that all of us are going to deal with constantly.  Make no mistake: it is going to be brought up in every.  Single.  Broadcast.  If you go on social media where other sports fans comment, somebody is going to raise it.  Coach Bennett has done a fantastic job of preparing his team to deal with it.  We as fans need to do the same.  We need to get past our HTSD.

Hoo Traumatic Stress Disorder.  You know it fits, and you know you have it.  Now you have to figure out how to get to a place where UMBC doesn't trigger it.  I hope this video helps.

Upon advice of my teammates, I actually made two versions of the video.  Because some of us have not yet come out of the jungle, the main version comes with a trigger warning.

I think we all should be able to handle it, but if you don't feel you can deal with seeing scenes of the carnage and the enemy dancing on the grave of your soul, there is the HTSD Safe version.

Instead of the nightmare sequence, you get a safe alternative story.  Those who are not triggered might want to check out the safe version anyway, just to see it.  :D
