Late Signing Day Recap

What was once simply National Signing Day for football programs has become the Late Signing Day. Most programs sign the majority of their recruits in the new Early Signing Day in December. UVA is no different in that regard. But there remained work to be done for the Hoos. As a result, UVA signed two new players to their 2020 class on February 5.

After the new additions, the Hoos have signed 15 new players in the recruiting class. 

Monday night brings Wahoo football history as 24th ranked Virginia (9-4) plays in its first ever New Year's Six bowl game. It's their second ever major bowl game joining the 1991 Sugar Bowl in program record books. The SEC will have supplied the opponent in each game as the 9th ranked Florida Gators (10-2) will occupy the opposite sideline in Hard Rock Stadium.

Final Bowl Projections

Bowl selections are made on Sunday. Here at HoosPlace, that means that it's time to go on the record with final projections.

Kendall is back this week to pinch hit for Maize.

Note that these selections were made prior to the PAC 12 Championship Game. But Karl was selfishly on vacation this week and could not publish until late Friday night.
